My experience with multimeter is good, it has good accuracy and price.Here you will learn the pros and cons of the product.
Pros:
- Backlit display is probably the biggest advantage over other models.In the dark, the values are clearly visible.
- It has all useful features for DIY electricians, home masters (More about the functions of the instrument in the manual.)
- Multimeter shows exact values
Cons:
- For replace the battery,i mus disassemble it
- Measuring probes (leads) may break
- It does not have automatic shutdown (the multimeter really has a small consumption I left it ON for 2 weeks in the garage)
Conclusion my review:
EXCEL XL830L is good digital multimeter i used him for two years,Most often I measured DC voltage and controlled electrical connections with a sound buzer. I think it’s one of the best multimeters with a price under 10 usd.
Where to buy a multimeter with a favorable price?
I recommend bigest marked place as EBAY, Aliexpress….Two years ago I took it for a super price of 7 $at banggood.com.
On Aliexpres sells the xl830l multimeter without Excel, but it’s ok, it costs around 6 usd.

The cables c/w probes are rubbish, I have only used my meter about 6 times and the one cable has fallen apart from the probe.

terrible multimeter, ive had it 3 days and its showing 19 volts even with no leads plugged into it
